Chancellor of the German Federal Republic

First elected German Chancellor in 2005, she was re-elected in 2009 and 2013.

She previously participated in the 25* International Meeting for Peace organised in Munich in 2011 by the Community of Sant'Egidio and the Diocese of Munich.
