He studied at the Beijing Diocesan Seminary and was ordained a priest in 1992. He has served in Shanxi and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. On october 31 2010 he was ordained coauditor bishop with both Holy See and China's approval. His diocese numbers around 70.000 faithfuls.
