On June 22nd Andrea Riccardi made an appeal to the internation community to save the city of Aleppo, in Syria, asking to establish humanitarian corridors, to provide supplies to civilians, to negotiate, setting no deadline, the end of the fighting and to create a UN peacekeeping force: a sort of "Aleppo Open City".
