He was one of the protagonists of the Abu Dhabi meeting in 2019, which he conceived and organised and in which Pope Francis and Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmad Al-Tayyeb were present and signed the Document on Human Fraternity for a worldwide peace and living together.
Recently he contributed to the establishment of diplomatic relations with Israel through the "Abraham Accords", a significant step in the process of establishing peace in the region.
Among the initiatives he intends to realise is the "Abrahamic Family House", an area that will host the worship of the three monotheistic religions and foresees Jews, Christians and Muslims praying on the same site.
