A Korean Methodist pastor who has taught extensively at the Methodist Theological University in Seoul. He has published studies and research mainly in Systematic Theology.
His first experience in the World Methodist Council was the Singapore conference in 1991.
He was chairman of the Council's Theological Education Committee and co-chairman of the Oxford Institute of Methodist Theological Studies.
He has been President of the World Methodist Council (WMC) since 2016.
