Boutin Christine
Former Minister of Housing and the City, France
Born in 1944, she has begun her political carreer in 1977 as a municipal councillor in Paris.
She has been a deputy from 1986 to 2007 and candidate to the French presidential elections in 2002. Politically active in the domain of the defence of life, from the conception to the death, of the fight against poverty, family, prison and the housing.
Since May 2007 she is the French Minister for Housing and Urban affairs.
She is the Fondress of "Alliance pour les droits de la Vie" , and president of the Forum of the social Republicans, a political party associated to the UMP. She is a consultant to the Pontifical Council for the Family, and vice president of the General Council of Yvelines.
