Theologian and Zaydi Imam, Yemen

He studied at the Zaydi school with the most important Yemeni theologian, Badreddin al-Huthi. He suffered persecution under the regime of Ali Abdallah Saleh. He lives in Sanaa, where he runs a religious education institute. He is a witness to the suffering of the Yemeni population.
