French-Moroccan activist, she is the mother of Imad ibn Ziaten, a French soldier killed in Toulouse by a French-Algerian Islamist in a terrorist attack in 2012. In the same year she founded IMAD in France, an interreligious association for peace aimed above all at young people. Her work has received numerous international awards.
