Schröder Jeremias

In 1984 he entered in the monastery of St.Ottilien and in 2000 he became its Archabbot. He is responsible for the Benedictine missionary monks worldwide (they are 1 100), he takes particularly care of his relationships with China. Before his election as abbot he has studied theology in Rome (1985-1990) and History at Oxford (1990-1995). He was the secretary of the previous abbot, Notker Wolf.
